Referring to Your Excellency's letter No.7%

dated the 18th. instant and received today on the subject

of the handing over of the Cape D'Aguilar and Victoria Peak

Signal Stations to the Naval Authorities, I have the honour

to inform Your Excellency that I have noted that such trans-

fer should be deferred to the 1st. October next, so as to

give time for a communication in the matter to be received

from the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty,
